Iberdrola sues Transelectrica over wind farm grid connection

Eolica Dobrogea, the Romanian wind farm constructor of the Spanish company Iberdrola, sued the country's energy regulator, ANRE, and the power-grid operator Transelectrica SA, over refusing to connect one of their wind farms to the national grid.
Eolica Dobrogea SRL is claiming damages of 118 million euros a year from the grid-operator for not connecting the company's Cogealac farm to the national power-grid.
The first session of the trial is scheduled for March 16.
